FAQs
How quickly will I receive the inspection report?
As soon as we receive the request we will contact the car’s owner to arrange the inspection. Based on their availability, we aim to inspect the car the same day or at least the next day. The report is sent digitally to your email and SMS text as soon as the inspectors finish the inspection.
How much will I pay?
Standard cars are 499 AED + VAT should the seller bring the car to their nearest Axle inspection centre.
If it’s not possible for the seller to bring the car then we can collect and return the vehicle on an insured and fully enclosed vehicle carrier or send a mobile inspection team (with vehicle lifting equipment) for an additional 250 AED + VAT.
Luxury, performance, and supercars are 999 AED + VAT. The seller should bring the car to their nearest Axle inspection centre.
The increased cost is because these cars need specialist equipment. As an example, Ferrari, McLaren, etc have floor panels that need to be removed. This alone can take over an hour to remove and refit.
If it’s not possible for the seller to bring the car then we can collect and return the vehicle on an insured and fully enclosed vehicle carrier for an additional 250 AED + VAT. Please note that mobile inspections are not possible for these cars due to the need for specialist equipment.
When do I pay for the inspection?
Payment is collected during check-out via credit/debit card. Once booked, you will receive an email confirmation with order details as well as our WhatsApp contact for any order adjustments. If unsure, feel free to reach out to us via WhatsApp with any inquiries or payment issues.
What makes Axle different from other inspection options?
Axle inspections are independent and not linked to any marketplace or dealer. You get an impartial condition report without bias.
The team that designed and built Axle are industry experts with multiple decades of front-line auto experience. Our senior inspectors that are part of the development team have inspected over 25,000 cars. The software has 1800+ fault codes built right in. The Axle report is clear and easy to understand, yet filled with rich information. The Axle report is digital including photos and is sent directly to your SMS and email as soon as the inspector completes the inspection.
Where do you conduct the inspections?
Axle inspection locations are across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. The other Emirates are coming soon.
We have brand specialist partners, so you’ll have the most experienced inspectors specific to a car brand checking the car.
We also have mobile teams that have the equipment to inspect and lift up the car at the owners’ location.
Do you guarantee your inspections?
An Axle inspection is one of the most detailed reports available, covering over 400 points. It will be rare that any faults do not show up, however, the car inspection is not guaranteed because the inspector is only checking visually and does not remove or dismantle any parts of the vehicle, including the transmission or the engine. There is a small possibility of future failures that are not evident at the time of the inspection. In the event of any complaint or query, we have the right to re-inspect the car before any work to rectify is carried out.
